Lacie demonstrates once again that we can sublimate the objects that are part of our daily lives and are generally of a design without interest.
The French brand that had already asked the designer Neil Poulton and Ora-Ito to make a hard drive, joined this time the ubiquitous Philippe Starck for his new creation, the Starck LaCie Desktop Hard Drive.
The result is exciting, the drive reminiscent of a kind of digital safe chrome. The desktop version also offers a touch screen in front, allowing to quickly open any application you choose a simple touch.
